- 2008 The Alpine Bender is introduced to the US market
- 2008 Alpine Bender adds an auto loader to create a bend cell
- 2008 Fairing and UTE agreed to work together marketing Alpine benders in the Eastern half of the USA.
Fairing is pleased to introduce the Alpine brand of tube bending machines.
The product range includes simple and inexpensive Monkie Benders, NC benders to 8.6" OD capacity, and CNC machines with up to 14 axis of control.
The Monkie Bender is basically a Pines #2 head with an electric drive for the swing arm and manually actuated clamp and pressure die . It is available in either rotary draw (with mandrel) or compression versions. The main focus point is keeping it affordable - including tooling, a Monkie Bender can be purchased for less than $30,000.00. They are very popular with job shops and muffler repair shops.
Alpine NC benders are a great solution for low volume or occasional needs. They are available in one axis (bend) and two axis (bend and plane) versions. The basic machine includes the controller, pressure die assist, wiper die bracket, and a mandrel extracter.
Alpine provides very flexible and sophisticated multi axis CNC tube bending machines that lend themselves well to automation in a work cell or stand alone operation. These machines are very popular in the automotive, furniture, bicycle, HVAC, and aerospace industries. The basic machine includes the controller, a mandrel extracter, pressure die assist, and a wiper die mount. Alpine Benders are an economical solution for forming simple parts quickly and accurately. With the proper options they are excellent for forming complex parts with a variety of radii and little to no straight between bends.
Can-Am Tube Tech, Inc. is Alpine/UTE's local representative in Michigan, Northern Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Ontario, and Manitoba.
