Operator Training on a New Bender
We provide operator training as required.
Tube Bending Machines - Experienced tube bender operators may need only two days of training to get comfortable with a new machine. Inexperienced operators may need three days to gain proficiency with programming and operating a tube bender. Training time is split evenly between the classroom and the bender. Areas covered include:
- Machine familiarization, a walk-around pointing out features and functions
- Taking information from a drawing to prepare a program for tube bending
- Manual machine operations
- Programming and automated operations
- Troubleshooting to correct a part
- Preventative maintenance
Tube Bender Set Up Training
We also offer tube bender set up training including:
- Identifying mechanical problems with the machine
- Identifying problems with the tooling
- Proper tool setting
- Correcting tool marks and wrinkles
- Getting the part to fit the checking fixture
