205 Correcting Bad Bend Features
Bad bend features include:
- Wrinkles on the inside of the bend.
- Lumps on the outside of the tube at the end of the bend.
- Scratches in clamp area.
- Ball segment bumps in bend area.
- Scratches on inside of bend area.
- Tooling marks on centerline.
- Too much collapse in the bend.
- Tearing in the bend area.
These are indications of worn tooling, misaligned tooling, too much, or too little clamp or pressure die force.
